1. The Canopy Walkway

The highlight of LCC, the canopy walkway, is a 401-meter suspended bridge that soars up to 22 meters above the ground. The Family Park is also a favored spot for picnics. With shaded gazebos, family huts, volleyball courts, and ample seating, it’s ideal for relaxed gatherings. Many visitors bring picnic baskets to enjoy under the park’s canopy of trees, making it a perfect setting for group outings.

5. The Tree House

One of the reserve’s unique attractions is a tree house built around a towering Dawadawa tree. Accessible to groups of up to six people at a time, it provides a scenic view of the conservation area from 21 meters up and is a fun adventure for both adults and children.

Wildlife Encounters

Although LCC isn’t a zoo, it’s home to a wide range of wildlife, including the famous 95-year-old tortoise, Mona monkeys, peacocks, crocodiles, and an assortment of bird species. Visitors can often spot the resident monkeys near the trails, but it’s best to keep snacks secured, as these playful creatures can be curious. Birdwatchers will appreciate the presence of migratory and resident bird species, such as Harrier Hawks and hornbills.
